With Faith Community Pathways, we transformed two acres of mown grass to a life-filled prairie blooming with native wild flowers that provides a home to numerous pollinators of bees and other insects. Pathways weave through the prairie with five circle areas. These areas are for resting, meditation, learning, sitting, and playing. The pathways is a place for community members to interact, connect, and find renewal. Children and adults are all invited to come and explore.
Faith Community Pathways hosts educational programs for Westlawn Elementary School, Riveredge Nature Center, and the community.
New for 2023: There is a new outdoor classroom and story walk in Westlawn Woods. This is open for the public to use. See photos below.
