Building Beloved Community: Learning to Love in a Polarized World
May 16
Saturday
9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
$30

This daylong workshop invites participants into story—biblical story, individual stories, and historical story. We will explore how stories we hear and learn help to shape and form us and work to create single stories and places of division. We will examine the construction and meaning of racism and begin to identify steps and opportunities to grow in understanding and action and in building and strengthening relationships. Dr. Joyce Caldwell and The Reverend Marilyn Miller, from Leading for Racial Equity, will facilitate the discussion.
