 \nWhat is EPIC?\nOur local ELCA congregations have a long history of colla
 boration\, but knowing what to call this has sometimes been confusing. We 
 recently have started to use the acronym EPIC (ELCA Partners In Christ) to
  refer to the shared work that is being done with Advent\, Faith\, Immanue
 l\, St. John and Trinity Lutheran Church. Cooperative efforts\, from confi
 rmation to clergy lunches to shared worship services\, have fostered a spi
 rit of partnership that is helping us better appreciate where God is guidi
 ng our congregations. The EPIC Listening Team is made of members from each
  of the EPIC congregations. They meet regularly to discuss ways in which w
 e can do ministry together.
