Cultivating Community Mission Appeal
What does belonging to a community mean for you? For our congregation, the question has inspired a journey of discovering our gifts and how to better share them. We’ve realized that the land surrounding our building is an amazing resource for growing relationships, serving others and caring for the earth. We’ve enjoyed partnerships on projects we couldn’t accomplish alone. We’ve built new relationships with neighbors, learning how to serve together for a more just, equitable and beautiful world.
Perhaps you have experienced something similar here. Whether volunteering in Westlawn Woods, attending or helping coordinate an event, or simply enjoying some rejuvenating time outside, you are Cultivating Community in this place. I want to raise awareness of the many ways this is happening and invite your support for continued growth as we work together. This spring, between April 16 and May 21 we’ve set a goal of raising $36,000 to expand the special community that people experience here.
